Custom Aviaries
All of our custom aviaries are built to order.
Once your quote has been accepted and any required deposit has been received, your project will be placed into our production queue.
Estimated Production Time
  • Average turnaround: Approximately 3 months
  • Timeframes may vary depending on:
    • Current order volume
    • Size and complexity of your aviary
    • Weather conditions
    • Material availability
As every aviary is individually handcrafted, we appreciate your patience while we build your enclosure to the highest standard.
We will keep you updated throughout the process and contact you when your aviary is ready for delivery or collection.
Stainless Steel Cages
Our premium stainless steel range is imported from trusted manufacturers.
To help reduce shipping costs for our customers, some cages may be shipped directly from our supplier , while others may be dispatched from our warehouse.
Estimated Delivery Time
  • Average delivery: Approximately 8 weeks
  • Occasionally delivery may take up to 4 months
While uncommon, international freight delays and Australian customs inspections can extend delivery times. Unfortunately, these delays are outside of our control.
We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates whenever possible.
Birds
The welfare of our birds is our highest priority.
No bird will leave Exotic Aviaries until it has:
  • Fully weaned
  • Been health assessed
  • Been microchipped (where applicable)
  • Been DNA sexed (where applicable)
  • Been paid for in full
Once your bird is ready, we will arrange a suitable collection date or organize transport where available.
Please note that we do not guarantee collection dates, as every bird develops and weans at its own pace. We will never rush the weaning process simply to meet a requested date.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary depending on the product purchased and your location.
Where possible, we work with trusted freight providers to obtain the most cost-effective shipping option while ensuring your purchase arrives safely.
Shipping costs will be advised prior to dispatch.
Delays
Although we strive to meet all estimated delivery timeframes, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
  • Supplier delays
  • Freight carrier delays
  • Weather events
  • Customs inspections
  • Public holidays
  • Material shortages
